Letter to Parents regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear Hub Parents, Patients and Carers,

We have been closely monitoring Corona virus (COVID-19). This is unfolding very quickly with new announcements and developments on daily basis. We now have taken the decision to suspend all face to face appointments for the near future at both offices to protect the health of our clients, staff and their families in line with social distancing recommendations.

We have been working hard to set up unique and create ways to provide ongoing services via online, Skype or telephone appointments as approved by NDIS, Medicare and private health funds. We encourage all clients and families to consider this option for ongoing care as it is highly likely that all clinic based services within the state will move to online services very soon.

If you do not have access to Skype or know how to set this up please call us so we can assist with this.

Office closures

Both our Hub offices are now closed with staff setting up to work remotely from home. We ask that you do not attend either of our offices but will let you know as soon as we are able to resume clinic based services.

Therapy groups

We are temporarily suspending any group sessions where a number of clients come together for therapy. If you or your child are due to be taking part in group sessions, we will update you closer to the time of group bookings in the hopes this situation improves to allow for these to go ahead.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to continue to provide our services to you remotely while keeping everyone as safe as possible in these difficult times.

Personal Care

Practice good sneeze/cough hygiene as the best defence against most viruses.

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
  • Cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
  • If unwell, avoid contact with others (stay more than 1.5 metres from people).
