About Us

The Hub comprises The Hub: Integrated Child Development Services, The Hub: Youth Mental Health Services and The Hub: Parents, Couples, Relationships. The Hub brings together many of the most highly experienced child, youth and adult focused clinicians in Western Australia. Our unique group practice includes paediatricians, clinical psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers and occupational therapists. We work with parents and families in diagnosing and managing children and adolescents with developmental and behavioural difficulties as well as mild to moderate mental health concerns in children, adolescents and adults.

Tobias Hancock

BSc (Speech and Hearing)

Speech Pathologist

Tobias has been working as a speech pathologist in the area of child development since 2002. Upon completion of his undergraduate training Tobias has been working with children presenting with a range of speech and language delays and disorders, with focal areas including early intervention, articulation, expressive language and comprehension. He has a wealth of experience working with teams in the early identification and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Tobias always strives to ensure his therapy sessions are both fun and supportive for child and parent alike, with an emphasis on clear communication and genuine care for all clients.

Holly Salt

BSc Speech Pathology (Hons)

Speech Pathologist

Holly is a speech pathologist who holds a strong passion for working with young children; she conducted a research project with this age group where she assessed speech and oral motor skills of 2-5 year olds, to gain further knowledge into the effect of tongue-tie on speech. Holly has previous experience assisting children with speech, language and literacy delays and disorders, and has worked closely with teachers in a school context where she provided individual and group intervention. She endeavours to build strong relationships with her clients during therapy sessions, while providing them with explicit teaching and evidence based practice.

Sophie Davidson

B.Sc. (Occupational Therapy)

Occupational Therapist

Sophie is an OT who works with children, teens, families and adults. She has over six years experience in the areas of early intervention, behavioural change and developmental therapy, in homes, schools and in clinic. Sophie’s areas of interest include community-based therapy, Autism and ASDs, sensory-processing disorder, developmental delays, learning difficulties, fine and gross motor difficulties, holistic health and helping adults with health and lifestyle management, particularly around weight loss. Sophie takes an holistic approach to assessment and therapy with a passion for empowering her clients to achieve optimal health, function and wellbeing.

Faye Lucas

Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor

Faye is a clinical psychologist who specialises in the areas of behaviour management and behavioural change. She displays an earnest interest in helping children, adolescents, and young adults heal and grow. She has been practicing as a clinical psychologist focusing on early childhood, autism, and behavoural difficulties. Faye has an extensive local knowledge of the services available in Mandurah to support families and children having worked in Mandurah for over 15 years. She has strong established working relationships and communication networks with local schools and other healthcare providers.

Dr Keren Geddes

BA (Hons), MApp Psych (Clinical), PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Keren has a rich professional experience from many years in Child & Adolescent Mental Health together with running her own private practice. In the past she has worked in Adult Mental Health, developed programs for brain injured young adults, and been employed as a school psychologist in educational settings. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy dissertation in 2015. Her research focused on the assessment and treatment of emotion dysregulation in adolescents who self-harm. She has lectured in post-graduate programmes at UWA and Murdoch University where she continues to supervise post-graduate research projects. Keren has completed extensive training in family and couple therapy, clinical hypnosis, and infant mental health. She takes a developmental and systemic approach in her assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults. The focus of her work with clients of all ages is to explore and encourage individual strengths and abilities working together towards optimum development and well-being.

Alison Woollard

Clinical Psychologist

Alison has extensive experience working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Child Development Services, Adult Mental Health and working in her own private practice. Alison works with children, adolescents, adults and families and provides assessment and therapy services for a broad range of issues. These include anxiety, depression, school issues, relationship difficulties and emotional regulation. Other areas include attachment, social and emotional development, blended family and parenting support. Alison also has a special interest in providing services for children with developmental trauma.

Alison is able to provide assessment services for intellectual/cognitive functioning (up to 16 years), social/emotional and adaptive functioning.

Tamar Cohen

BA (Hons), GradDip Ed

Registered Psychologist

Tamar is a registered psychologist with a Bachelor and Honours degree in psychology and a Graduate Diploma in education (majoring in school psychology). She has worked as a school psychologist across a number of schools in the Bunbury and Mandurah regions. She has a special interest in child development and the assessment of complex learning issues and neurodevelopmental disorders. Tamar provides psychological assessments and intervention for children and adolescents, including assessments of IQ, academic achievement, behavioural difficulties, and social/emotional difficulties.

Lisa Roberts

BSW, Grad. Dip.(Counselling), BA (Psych.)

Accredited Social Worker

Lisa is an experienced and well respected social worker who has worked in the Mandurah and Rockingham areas for over 20 years. She has extensive experience across a variety of clinical settings including child and adolescent mental health, child development services, child protection and the child witness service. She has considerable knowledge of local service providers and part of her role includes linking families in with appropriate agencies and supports. Lisa's clinical focus is in the areas of childhood trauma, mental health, parenting difficulties, parent and child relationship difficulties, and the social and emotional well-being of individuals and families. Lisa's therapeutic approach incorporates evidence based treatments, which are then tailored to the needs of the individual. Therapeutic interventions include; Circle of Security, Bringing Up Great Kids program, 1,2,3 Magic, Positive Parenting Program, Mindfulness Parenting Program, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy. In working with Lisa you will find a safe, supportive environment, which honours the person’s story, allowing opportunity to reflect, heal, and grow.

Dr Jonathan Williams

MB BS, FRANZCP, Cert Child Psych

Consultant Psychiatrist

Jon is a Consultant Psychiatrist who has had 30 years experience working as a Child, Adolescent and Family psychiatrist in private and government services dealing with the full range of mental health issues in children and adolescents. He has also over this time maintained a private practice seeing adults particularly with adult ADHD, depression, anxiety and trauma issues. He has a particular interest working in Family Therapy and individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. In more recent years he has worked as a locum psychiatrist visiting the immigration detention centres and working as a locum in the inpatient and outpatient services in the Hunter New England Region and the Great Southern region of WA. In the past 10 years he has also combined training in complimentary energy medicine based approaches in Sydney to provide alternatives in treatment and a holistic based approach where appropriate. He now splits his time working in private practice between Mandurah and Sydney.

Dr Michelle Howell


Consultant Paediatrician

Michelle is a general paediatrician with a broad range of experience accumulated over the last 30 years. She has interests in both general medical and developmental paediatrics. She has been in the Mandurah area as a sole paediatrician, the Director of Mandurah Paediatrics for the last 20 years. She also supported the paediatric unit at Peel Health Campus during that time. She has extensive experience in children with both general medical problems as well as neurodevelopmental and behavioural problems. She is experienced in managing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning difficulties and developmental delay.

As well as running a private practice she has supported rural paediatrics in the Kimberley, Geraldton and Albany. Recently she was appointed Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at Fiji National University and was involved both in training medical students and looking after a diverse range of medical disorders.

Dr Samantha Kaiser

Consultant Paediatrician – General Paediatrics & Community Child Health

Sam is a committed developmental/behavioural paediatrician who is a member of the Neurodevelopmental Behavioural Paediatric Society of Australasia. She has experience working in Mandurah, Esperance and Carnarvon as a private paediatrician. She also has experience working for the Health Department of WA as both a developmental and rural paediatrician in locations including Mandurah, Albany and the Western Desert.

Sam’s areas of interest include Developmental Trauma, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and attachment related concerns. She has completed post-graduate studies in Population Health, and Child Psychotherapy. Sam works with children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and developmental delays. She prides herself on her family orientated approach to work.
